Gateshead's Terrible Performance

On the 26th March 2016 I went to the Gateshead International Stadium with my dad and my granddad to go see Gateshead vs Macclesfield Town. Before the game started Gateshead were in 9th position and Macclesfield were 13th position. Everyone thought that Gateshead were going to win because we had won our last three games. kick off was at 15:00pm Gateshead did not really do anything but after that it was all Macclesfield. In the 13th minute Macclesfield had a corner. They crossed it in and it was headed in by No.25 Reece Styche. Five minutes later we had a half chance the ball was crossed in by Craig Baxter and it was headed well wide by No.12 Gus Mafuta. After that Gateshead did nothing. Ten minutes after our half chance Macclesfield were 2-0 up through another goal by Reece Styche. Just before half time Craig Baxter was involved in an altercation with a Macclesfield player and surprise surprise it  got a was Reece Styche. Second half begins and again it was all Macclesfield. In the opening 25 minutes of the second half Macclesfield had about five good chances to score but they did not take any of those chances. But seven minutes before the end of the game Macclesfield got a third goal and it was Reece Styche. So to sum up our terrible performance we had 38% poession and Macclesfield had 62% poession.
